Dear Neighbors,
As our neighborhood continues to enjoy the calm, tree-lined avenues of Swasthya Vihar amid the bustle of Vikas Marg, our primary responsibility remains unchanged: ensuring that every child, elder, and resident family feels completely safe within our boundary gates.
Over the past few months, your Managing Committee has worked closely with our security agency and local civic authorities to modernize our perimeter controls. While technology handles automated barrier access and camera surveillance, true neighborhood safety always relies on shared civic responsibility.
Here is a quick look at our ongoing security upgrades and the simple daily habits every household can adopt to keep our colony safe.
What’s New at Our Entry Gates?
- Automated Boom Barriers & RFID Lanes: The main access gate off Vikas Marg is now fully operational with high-speed automated barriers. Registered vehicles with valid RWA RFID tags enjoy fast-track entry without stopping for manual identification.
- Expanded High-Definition CCTV: Blind spots along outer boundary walls, cross-junctions, and central park perimeters are now continuously monitored from the RWA central security desk.
- Delivery Personnel Checkpoint: Third-party couriers, food delivery riders, and commercial service vehicles are now logged through digital visitor entry registers before access is granted.
Three Simple Steps Every Resident Can Take This Week
- Paste Your Official RWA Parking Sticker: Unmarked vehicles cause queues and require manual gate verification. If you have recently purchased a vehicle or haven’t collected your annual RFID sticker, please pick one up from the RWA office during evening hours (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
- Submit Police Verification for Domestic Staff: Under Delhi Police directives, tenant and domestic help verification (maids, drivers, cooks, private security) is mandatory. Please ensure completed verification forms and ID photocopies are registered with the RWA office for gate pass issuance.
- Notify the Gate for Late-Night Visitors: If you are expecting deliveries, repair technicians, or guests arriving past 11:00 PM, a quick call or message to the gate intercom ensures smooth passage without delays.
A Safe Colony Is a Connected Colony
A gated community thrives when neighbors watch out for one another. If you notice an open boundary gate during restricted hours, poorly lit street fixtures, or unfamiliar individuals lingering near parked cars, do not hesitate to contact our 24/7 security desk immediately.
Together, we can ensure that Swasthya Vihar remains one of East Delhi’s most peaceful, disciplined, and secure residential sanctuaries.
